Mississippi $10,000 Triple Crown Challenge Announced

Memphis, Tennessee (09/07/11) – To succeed and grow in the world of racing, promoters have to think outside the box and work together, and this is evidenced by the recently announced Mississippi Triple Crown Challenge.

Promoters with Mississippi's three crown jewel events, The Magnolia State 100, the Coors Light Fall Classic 100, and the Southern Belle Cotton Pickin' 100 have joined together to form the Mississippi Triple Crown Challenge. The event offers a $10,000 bonus to any driver, who can win all three events. If a driver can win only two of the events, then they will receive a $3,000 bonus. The only restriction is that drivers must take part in all three events to be eligible for either bonus.

Drivers will get their first chance to put their name in the running for the bonus by competing in the 22nd Annual Magnolia State 100 at Columbus Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) on September 22nd-24th. The event pays $20,010-to-win/$1,000-to-start for Super Late Models at "The Baddest Bullring in the South". For more information contact Dewitt Singleton at 601-917-1500 or visit www.ColumbusSpeedway.net .

The second event in the series will be the 17th Annual Coors Light Fall Classic at Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi) on October 20th-22nd, 2011. Drivers will tackle "Mississippi's Action Track" in pursuit of a $15,000-to-win/$1,000-to-start purse. For more information, please contact Jannie Thrash at 601-486-3410, Charles Thrash at 601-917-2335, Rodney Wing at 601-527-0084 or visit www.WhynotMotorsportsPark.com .

If the $10,000 bonus is to be claimed it will be accomplished on October 27th-29th, 2011 at "The South's Premier Dirt Track" Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) during the 8th Annual Cotton Pickin' 100.
