yes, they are getting the fence up around the track and tested the lights last night. Should be a great racing weekend, just hope the limiteds and crates don't try to kill each other like they did last weekend!

I know of a couple of tracks called off this weekend for "weather related issues" already, and they should be ashamed. Dixie got hit by a friggin tornado and will we ready to go Saturday night.

For all of the people who may not like the Swimms family or have bad mouthed Dixie and Rome Speedway, you should feel incredibly lucky to have some one who is as consistent and committed to what they are doing. It's a rare thing to find in this area, and in this sport in general these days.

unless you had a boat, you werent racing at boyds. how can you be ashamed. as for anyone badmouthing the swims' two tracks.....nobody tries harder than them to make a great show. you cant expect perfection this time of year from any track, but you cant say its lack of effort at rome or dixie. i think 75%of the people that gripe are newbies and have probably been to a couple of races. idiots with a keyboard. unless your talking about the freight train in c(#^#(@&d. something needs to desperately done about that.
