Im new at puttin birdcages to your grt,we are updating this car to the grt roller bearing birdcages..Question is how do i know how far to mount them on the axle tube to make sure there in the right location?? And on the J-Bar on the frame side is a regular mount,how far up would u go up on the frame measured from the bottom on the frame?? were just updating a older grt...and any suggestions on spring choice and shocks?? thanx

6 3/4 from rotor to b/c. and try 225 in both rears to start or 225 lr and 250 rr

I'm pretty sure the measurement is 7 3/4 from the rotor to the center of the shock mount.

Joe Garrison told me 7 3/4" from inside of 1.250 rotor to center of shock mount.

7 3/4 to the center of the shock mount is 6 1/2 from the rotor to the birdcage.

ok thanx guys..U know what springs would be a good start out for the front and how tall of springs would u recommend for the rear and front?? this is a steel motor thanx
