Brownstown Speedway Updates Schedule for 32nd Annual Jackson 100 on September 23 and 24; Purse Increase Announced
BROWNSTOWN, IN (September 5, 2011) – Brownstown (IN) Speedway promoter Tim Keithley has announced a schedule update and purse increase for the track’s signature event the 32nd Annual Jackson 100 coming up on Friday and Saturday, September 23rd and 24th.
On Friday Night the track will host Red Buck Cigar Time Trials for the Lucas Oil late Model Dirt Series along with a full racing program for Pure Stocks, Bombers and Super Stocks. General admission on Friday will be $15.
On Saturday Night there will be Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Heat Races, B-Mains and the 32nd Annual Jackson 100 paying $20,000 to win. Keithley has added an additional $5,000 to the Jackson purse. “The money will be spread through the field and not added to the top,” said Keithley. “Hopefully this will attract more cars to the Jackson, the payoff will be very good, and we will be paying $1,200 to start,” Also on the race card on Saturday Night will be the Open Wheel Modifieds paying $1,000 to win. General admission on Saturday will be $30.
