I have a older mod chassis and was curious how much a avg rear clip job costs. Mine looks like it's been modified a few times in the past and I would just like to start fresh. Any ideas? Sorry if it's a dumb question.

I got the same price from Todd Sherman at team se. Anywhere from 400 to 1000 seems to be the norm.

Depends on what material you choose to have the car clipped with. I would charge $650 for a rear clip with (erw) seamed tubing, and I charge $800 for a D.O.M. mild steel clip. I have never done a (erw) rear clip because I do everything I can to educate my customers on the benefits of using the much higher quality tube and luckily they have always taken my advice. In my opinion erw tubing should be kept to bumpers.
