I see some big name guys that have different colors than how they come. Looking to brighten up a dull orange.Wanted to make sure what would be the best paint.

just the same as prepping a plastic body piece on a car.
Wash w/ soap and water to remove the release agents they use in the molds scuff it up and spray it w/ a flex additive

ive seen a couple cars that have. but they were painting a used nose that was already kinda beat up. they looked good until it got its first crack in it and it started to peal. but if prepped correctly you might be able to avoid it. i just dont think a rattle can is going to work in this case.

I've painted a couple, works pretty good too. I used the Krylon that is made for plastic.

best way i've found to paint plastic noses is this:
wash with soap and water
use propane torch to heat nose and wick oils out from the nose
clean residue with brake cleaner
sand lightly with 800 grit paper
reclean with brake cleaner
prime with a flex primer
paint (preferably in a paint booth)

i've punched holes in my nose with no paint chipping at all around the puncture. i get 60 nights easy out of them and they still look good unless they really get wrecked bad!

Wash, Scuff, and then use FIVE STAR BODIES primer on it before you paint it.

Shouldn't need to use a blow-torch on it.

www.fivestarbodies.com is where I found it.
