FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Ada, Oklahoma – September 26, 2011 - All the early pre-entries have been taken care of along with the all the final details. All that remains is for drivers from across the region to descend on Oklahoma Sports Park in Ada, Oklahoma for the second annual $10,000 to win, $500 to start “Stock Car Nationals”, taking place this Wednesday through Saturday night.

While pre-entries were encouraged, all drivers are more than welcomed to show up for practice on Wednesday night to pay your $200 entry fee at the gate. Gates will open at 5:00 PM with practice beginning at 7:00 PM.

Can’t make Wednesday nights practice session? Then pay your entry fee on Thursday night where the first night of preliminaries will take place. Gates will open at 5:00 PM with racing set for a 7:00 PM start time. A complete program will be run with drivers drawing for position in heat races. Heat winners will transfer to the nights feature and will redraw for starting position while second place finishers in the heats head to the “B” feature and third place in each heat go straight to the “C” feature. The top five cars from the “C” will move to the “B” where the top five cars there transfer to the nights feature finale. The top five in the feature finale will make up the first five inside rows for Saturday night’s championship feature event. Finishing positions six through ten will start on the inside five rows of the “B” feature on Saturday night.

Friday night’s format will be the same as Thursday nights with the top five in the feature finale starting on the outside first five rows on the championship feature Saturday night with positions six through ten starting on the outside five rows of the “B” feature.

Then on championship Saturday night, ten cars are qualified for “A”, and ten cars are qualified for “B”. All other cars draw for start in last chance race. Ten cars move from last chance to “B” and ten moves from “B” to “A”. The top twenty non-qualifiers will race in a non-qualifier race.

Tech will be strictly enforced.

Camping is allowed at the track however there are no hookups.

If you have any further questions regarding rules, format or any other race information, contact track owner/promoter George Welch (580) 332-5383.
