311 Speedway is pleased to announce the events for October 29. This should be one of the biggest nights of racing action @ 311 Speedway all year. Divisions on hand for this event are:


Super Late Models--$5000 to win/ $375 to start-- 50 lap feature
Modern Chevrolet Crate Late Models--$2000 to win/$200 to start-- 30 lap feature
Modifieds--$750 to win/$100 to start-- 25 lap feature
U-Cars--$1000 to win/$40 to start-- 25 lap feature

Supers & Crates will have a $100 entry fee
Modifieds & U-Cars will have a $25 entry fee

U-Car purse may grow even larger as the sponsor money comes in.

Rules:

Super Late Models will run under Carolina Clash Body Rules
Weights:
525 Crate Engine & Steelhead Late Models 2200 lb. w/12"spoiler
Steel block-Aluminum heads 2250 lb. w/8"spoiler
Open Engine 2300 lb. w/8"spoiler

1 lb. per lap burn off
NO burn off for qualifying
Tires:
Hoosier 1200,1300,1350,1600,& D55
AR SD12,SD44,SD48,&MD56

Grooving & Siping OK--NO SOAKING!!!!

Crates will run under Fastrak Crate Late Model Rules

Modifieds:

Follow AMRA and UMP guidelines for chassis , frame , roll cage , suspension , and body specs. Follow AMRA and UMP guidelines for transmission , driveline , and rearend. We will follow AMRA and UMP guidelines unless otherwise noted.

ENGINE COMBINATIONS

G.M. 604 CRATE ENGINE
2300 pounds with the driver after the race



BUILT ENGINE
1. Maximum 365 C.I.
2. May run after market steel block. No aluminum block.
3. Any crankshaft and rods. Any flat top pistons. No dome top pistons.
4. Any cast-iron heads with factory valve to piston angle, no porting or polishing. (Ex. 23 degree heads on GM products , 20 degree heads on Ford products) No raised runner heads. May angle mill the heads, must be with-in three degrees of stock. Heads may be port matched 1/2" on the intake side only.
5. Maximum valve sizes : 2.08 intake and 1.625 exhaust.
6. Any intake, no porting or polishing. May port match the intake runners 1/2" maximum. May de-burr.
7. Any flat tappet cam, no mushroom lifters. Roller rocker arms permitted. Shaft rockers allowed. Rocker studs may be pinned or screw-in type, with push rod guide plates and stud girdles. May use poly locks or stock nuts.
8. Wet sump oil system only. No dry sump system. No oil coolers. External oil pump allowed.
9. Any header. Mufflers must be used.
10. Any bowl type carburetor.
11. No magnetos.
12. May run gasoline or alcohol.
13. No electric fuel pump.
2350 pounds with the driver after the race


AMRA / UMP legal engines
2450 pounds with the driver after the race

Wheels must be 8" steel. Beadlocks allowed.
May run any tire manufacturer and compound. May groove or sipe.
Must be 26.5 X 8.0 X 15.0 or 27.5 X 8.0 X 15.0 legal Modified tire


U-Cars will run under current 311 Speedway rules


Pit gate will open @ 2pm
Grandstand will open @ 4pm
Driver's meeting @ 5pm
Practice begins @ 5:30pm

Admission prices:
Pit--13 & Up $30 9-12 $10 8 & Under FREE
Grandstand-- 16 & Up $20 9-15 $5 8 & Under FREE
