Having trouble with #5 cyl. not getting hot as the rest of the cyl. have changed plugs,dist,wires,carb,msd.Anyone else had this problem?The cyl.is about 200 deg.cooler but it is firing.

Do a leak down it should tell you the story

may have broken a locating shim----lost spring pressure-----

I have seen springs wear clear into the intake runner on that cylinder
