After almost 20 years I made the trip down Sunday night to 24 Raceway for their Fall Nationals. Their were pretty close to a 100 cars on hand for the evenings activities.
Another reason was the ULMA's last race of the points season and I wanted to see if the 12 year old Jake Griffin from Quincy Il. would win the points championship for the year.
Lots of new cars and drivers I have never seen before, a really fast place on the 1/2 mile high banked track.
Before I forget they are going to do it all over again this Friday and Saturday so if you still need one more racing fix get on down to Moberly for the races this weekend, just 2 hours and 15 minutes from K C.
