Thunderhill Raceway to Host Its 2nd Annual Danny Sandrell Memorial, Limited Late Model Race $2000 To-Win Oct. 15th, 2011
Summertown, TN (10/08/2011)- Thunderhill Raceway is proud to host its Second Annual Danny Sandrell Memorial, Limited Late Model Special paying $2000 To-Win $200 to-start, on Saturday October 15, 2011 as Thunderhill Raceway honors one of their fallen racers, Mr. Danny Sandrell.
Danny Sandrell was a long time racer in the super late model division, then later on in his racing career shifted down to the limited late model division. He was also a long time supporter of Thunderhill Raceway throughout his career in racing. Sandrell had won several races at the track over the years. To give tribute and celebrate his life, Thunderhill Raceway is devoting the night of racing on October 15th in honor of Danny Sandrell.
The limited late models will be gunning for the $2000 pay day. There will be a $100 entry fee, with $50 going back to non-qualifiers. Also all of Thunderhill Raceways regular divisions will be taking to the track for a full racing program, classes that include the Super late models, Openwheels, Modified Street, Street Stocks, Mini Stocks and Openwheel Mini Mods.
Gates will open at 4 pm, Drivers Meeting at 5:45 pm, Hot Laps at 6 pm and Racing starts at 6:30 pm.
