When should you lead the RR? How far is too far? From what I read this would make the car tight on throttle....what about off throttle?

leading the rr will tighten the car everywhere. it makes the rear of the car want to drive to the left. but how tight and where at depends on how much your car rolls over, and how much roll steer you put into it. if you have a lot of roll steer, it'll be tight when flat, and loosen as it rolls over.

i wouldnt go past straight up. To me its a terrible feeling.

if your talking a leaf spring chassis than you may want to lead the rr 1/4 to 1/2 depending on the track .

I trail my right rear 1/4 inch on a normal track. Leafs need the trail to rear steer and turn in easier.

all the leaf cars i've had were tight feeling and needed the RR trailed to get it to turn because no rear steer can be built in them. stagger helps but alot of stagger puts drag on the straights as does toeing the rear but not as bad as stagger when running leaf i run around 1/4'' back on the RR

yes I was trying to think of a rear set up were you might lead the rr as most bar cars have rearsteer.my thought was if the car was loose you might add lead to the rr.

yes you can decrease trail to tighten up the car. but generally you won't put +lead into it, they're almost always trailed at least a little.

Less oversteer will tighten on exit and tighten entry. I have my mod, 4 bar, straight up in the rear. More rear steer when it's tacky and less when dry slick.
