The Southern Regional Racing Series (SRRS) has ended their 2011 racing season and crowned a new champion.
The SRRS would like to congratulate Josh Putnam on his 2011 SRRS championship. Anthony Burroughs finished second in points followed by Jacob Grizzle.
We would also like to congratulate Chad Winkles on his fourth place in points and for being the Rookie of the Year in the SRRS.
The SRRS would also like to thank Magic Chassis for being our title sponsor for the 2011 season. We would also like to thank 441 Wraps, American Racer, Donnell Building Supplies, Hoosier, SHY Racing Suspension, Wulff Pumps, Brinkley Farms, and Steve's Home Center for sponsoring the SRRS.
The SRRS would also like to thank all of the racetracks that allowed us to have races this season: Green Valley Speedway, Tennessee National Raceway, East Alabama Motor Speedway, Boyd's Speedway, Thunderhill Raceway, Wartburg Speedway, Mountain Motor Speedway, and Smoky Mountain Speedway.
We have competed in Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, and Kentucky.
We have had 213 different drivers compete with the SRRS this season with 180 different drivers that raced at two or more events.
We would like to thank all of the drivers/teams that raced with us this year.
And finally, the SRRS would like to thank all of the fans that came out to see our events. We wouldn't be successful without all of the fans!
We hope to see you at any future events.
