The off-season tradition returns, and preparations are underway for: The Indy Circle Track Expo 12, Swap Meet * Trade Show * Auction, January 28, 2012 @ the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis, IN!
THE SHOW
It's one of the biggest shows of it's kind in the entire country, and by far the biggest show in the entire Midwest!! Last year's Indy Circle Track Expo had just over 400 booth spaces, featuring 165 different Vendors! Those Vendors came from 13 different (Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, South Dakota, Tennessee, West Virginia, and Wisconsin! This Swap Meet, Trade Show and Auction, will bring together local racers, professional racers, racing business's (manufacturers & dealers), race tracks, and sanctioning bodies all under 1 (well 2 actually) massive roof(s)! The 67,000 Sq. ft. Champions Pavilion was sold-out (for the 10th year in a row!) last year by the first week of January!
Vendor registration is open, and we have already started receiving entries, both in the mail and online!
This year's first entry, was Glenn Andrews of Tri-American Motorsports!! Congrats Glenn! We'll have to buy you one of those "$17 Hot Dogs" :) at the Fairgrounds.. Or maybe something less expensive??!! :)

THE AUCTION

MCS Auctions returns to host the 4th annual Racers Auction in the second building, Hall "A" of the South Pavlion (just about 40 yards out the back door of the "Champions")! This Auction is open to anyone who wishes to consign any racing related item, part, car, whatever! For time constraint reasons, this Auction will have a limited # of lots, so don't delay!
Racing Auction specialists, MCS Auctions will once again be conducting the Auction. And we do mean specialists.. Owner/Auctioneer Maria Vannice was mentored by none other than Charlie Sentman, and proudly carries over that experience to her own Auctions!! Plus, Danny Irvin has been in the auction business for 35+ years. He is an avid race fan and knows race parts as well. Danny works side by side with Maria to coordinate and implement a well organized Auction.
The "Racers Auction" is scheduled to start @ approx. 12:00 noon. Also of note: The Auction is open to any and all who wish to consign, and for our vendors, there will be some "Last Ditch" consignment slots open for you as well!! Just in case you don't want to take something back home !!!

THE INDIANA OPEN WHEEL AWARDS and The 2011 IOW SPRINT CAR DRIVER CHAMPIONSHIP

We are very excited to announce that this year during the Indy Circle Track Expo, we will once again be hosting a presentation for the Indiana Open Wheel Awards!! It’s kind of a “Viewer’s Choice” award for Racers, as it is voted by Fans, and fellow Racers! This year's categories can be voted on here: http://www.indianaopenwheel.com/forumdisplay.php?f=40
Along with the Awards we will also be hosting culmination of the first IOW Sprint Car Driver Championship! This one is $$$ folks! Drivers will be collecting their just desserts for a hard fought season! D.O. and Kimb Stewart will emcee the presentations, and this will take place at approx. 1P.M. just before....
THE FEUD
The Beast Race Cars "Circle Track Feud" Presented by Racin' W/D.O. and H.A.R.F., returns for another attempt at Game Show Infamy! The Mechanics, vs. the Legends, vs. The Current Heroes format will once again be in play! Last year's winner, Bryan Clauson walked away with his first victory of the 2011 season!! Once again this year, each Celebrity Panelist will be playing for more than just bragging rights, they'll actually be playing for $400, which will then be donated to the Shane Hmiel Road To Recovery!!
The kings of historical knowledge on all things fast, will be returning!.. Indianapolis Motor Speedway Historian Donald Davidson and Kevin Eckert will be tossing out the Questions & Points, in this battle for "mental" supremacy!! Also returning to help keep the train somewhat on the track, will be http://www.jackslash.com 's Sean Buckley!!
As in years past, we will be utilizing some Legends of the sport, as well as some of today's heroes! We have been fortunate to have some of the finest in the business, grace our stage over the the years, and this year will be no different! Keep checking back for this year's line-up announcements!
