Richmond Raceway Championship Awards Banquet Set for Saturday, November 5!
RICHMOND, KY (October 18, 2011)-Richmond Raceway track promoters Joey and Tiffany Tackett will officially bring the 2011 racing season to a close on Saturday night, November 5 with the annual Championship Awards Banquet.
The top five drivers in track points in each of the track’s five respective divisions will be honored at this year’s Championship Awards Ceremonies.
Several announcements regarding the 2012 racing season including the 2012 schedule of events will be released at the banquet.
This year’s Championship Awards Banquet will once again take place at Gillum’s located at 830 Eastern Bypass, Richmond, inside the Richmond Mall. Doors will open at 6:00 pm. Pizza and salad will be served with a cash bar available followed by awards presentations.
Pre-sale tickets can be purchased before November 1 at a discounted price, $20 for adults and $12 for children ages 9 and under. Tickets purchased after November 1 or at the door will be $25 for adults and $15 for children ages 9 and under.
This event is open to all race fans, drivers, and their crews. Anyone wanting to RSVP for the 2011 Richmond Raceway Championship Awards Banquet should contact the Raceway Office at (859) 626-4189. Dress for the award banquet is casual.
Drivers must be present to receive your award. Every driver in attendance at this year’s Championship Awards Banquet will receive a free gift courtesy of Mayhem Motorsports.
