3 Drivers. Chris Ferguson, Casey Roberts and Chris Brindle, separated by 4 points for the $15,000 in Championship monies plus $10,000 to win and the INAUGURAL ULTIMATE SUPER LATE MODEL SERIES CHAMPION TITLE and it all ends this weekend at Cherokee Speedway in Gaffney SC at the 21st annual Blue/Gray.

In what begin as a merger between the former Southern All Stars East and FASTRAK, the newly formed ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series has been a resounding success in 2011. It all ends this weekend in a championship battle like no other in the country. The top three teams only separated by 4 total points. With a one point per position scale, it’s anyone’s guess who might become the Inaugural champion.

All three drivers will have a challenge on their hands for this $10,000 to win event as it will be a star studded field. Chris Ferguson better known as” Fergy Time” is currently leading the points with 341. Four time defending champion of the former SAS East Series is none other than the “Toccoa Bandit” Casey Roberts. Roberts comes into the event only 2 points behind with 339. Rookie sensation Chip “Mr Cool” Brindle destroying the rookie of the year challenge comes into the event only 2 points behind Roberts with 337. Who wins? That’s yet to be seen. Come on out Sunday to witness history being made right in front of your eyes.

The drivers will not be the only ones winning that day as Cherokee Speedway, www.dirtfans.com and the ULTIMATE series are hosting the “Feed the need with speed” can food drive. We encourage all fans to bring what you can in this tremendous time of need in our great country.

Previous winners of this prestigious event include some of the world’s greatest drivers including that of Donnie Moran (3), Scott Bloomquist (3), the "Southern Gentleman" Freddy Smith (3), Clint Smith, Petey Ivey, Dale McDowell & 3 defending race winner Chris Madden (3). This season ending event brings out the 'who's who' of dirt Late Model racing and this year promises to be no different. Last year's race drew 31 cars with Chris 'Smokey' Madden outlasting Chris Ferguson, Jonathan Davenport, Steve Shaver(WV), Dennis Erb(IL), Clint Smith(GA) and Randy Weaver(TN). This years event will prove to be even more exciting with tops teams from all over the country, the tightest points battle in history and the newly formed food drive. Everyone will be a winner at the 21st Annual Blue/Gray this weekend at Cherokee Speedway on Sunday November 20th.
