A few thoughts for this Thanksgiving.
Enjoy the day, and please be safe if traveling and above all Give Thanks.

Be thankful that you don't already have everything you desire.
If you did, what would there be to look forward to?
Be thankful when you don't know something,
for it gives you the opportunity to learn.
Be thankful for the difficult times.
During those times you grow.
Be thankful for your limitations,
because they give you opportunities for improvement.
Be thankful for each new challenge,
because it will build your strength and character.
Be thankful for your mistakes.
They will teach you valuable lessons.
Be thankful when you're tired and weary,
because it means you've made a difference.
It's easy to be thankful for the good things.
A life of rich fulfillment comes to those who
are also thankful for the setbacks.
Gratitude can turn a negative into a positive.
Find a way to be thankful for your troubles,
and they can become your blessings.

Back from deer camp and missed an opportunity for a prize buck but was thankful to be with my family then and again today as I reflect on all the things I have. Also thinking of those who won't be having such a good day. For all those who will be traveling, be safe. Enjoy your family while you still have them here with you. Happy Thanksgiving!

It seems like when I remember to be thankful and have gratitude for what I have now, and not focusing on what I want, I am much more content and happy.

I am thankful for my family, the freedom to worship as I please and those selfless men and women in uniform who have sometimes given their lives for me to enjoy those blessings.

Happy Thanksgiving.
