Posting for a buddy of mine that is needing help for a base line set up. He has a 08 Titan metric clip 4/4 rear suspension, and is needing to find a good base setup of springs, shocks, percentages and such. Thanks in advance. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Rusty Cooper builds those cars out of Ms, have you been able to get a hold of him? Might could network with some people and get the number if you don't have it.

The guy that owns the car has called him and talked to him but he said to put 650 and 700 front springs in it, and from what I'm reading on here that's a little light for a metric car. Just wanting to get a little more info. Thanks

rusty build them out of my brothers shop, he has two of them. You should be running metric lowers the front end is jigged off of a 2006 pierce car. We have updated the fronts by running ub nova lowers, the best base line on imca style tires we have found are 600rf 650lf 200rr 175lr for shocks we find that bilsteins work the best unless you plan on running good qa1's or integra's. We run 4 valving lf, 6/2 tie down rf 2/8 lr traction style shock, and 3 valving rr. We have also changed the upper a arm a little too to get caster camber gain. We have started expermenting with softer front springs and different pull bar set ups.

Rusty builds a bad fast and very consitant race car, we have an 06 titan, that my son Aj garber won the track champion ship this year at wartburg tn. between him and myself the car has won several features and was a top five contender at many big shows in many states. this car is for sale Aj would seriously like Rusty to build him a new one.Call Aj at 615 888 7303 Im sure he will be happy to help you with setup and rustys phone

the titan metric cars were never built to be running the metric lowers you need to get the nova lowers on it and 650 to 700 springs should get you in the ball park. call me and we can get into it a little deeper on % and other things once i can get more info

Not trying to bash nobody here. But if the guy who builds the car says to run a 650 and a 700car up front id recommend putting a 650set and a 700car up front. I know rusty Cooper and he knows what he's talking about.
