lengthen wheel base

My set up book says on the right side to lengthen the top bar 2 rounds and shorten the bottom 2 rounds. Seems like if you want to lengthen the wheelbase you would lengthen both bars.

Maybe a misprint? What your book is saying will give you more side bite,it indexes the birdcage into the spring,normally the way Ive done it is lengthen the bottom bar 1st then lengthen the top bar till the birdcage is squared up,if you did 2 turns in the bottom it make take more in the top bar because of the angle of the bar,just get a measurement before you start.
