That depends on the size of the leaks but consider that you have 8 valves and 6 leak by that means the 3/4 of your valvetrain is leaking. May be a good time to re-build the head.

How are you establishing this leakage. Head guys love this. (unneeded valve grind)
Be aware that when an engine has been running all of the valves are very hot. When you shut it down and they cool, there will be a small amount of warpage on the valves that are not sitting on there seats. Run the engine again and when you shut it down you most likely will have different valves showing leakage. This is why you should always do a leak down or compression test when the engine is hot, for it to be valid.

I was talking bout where the bottom of the valve seats in the head the valves were thin and had black burnt spots around the valves when I took it tohave a valve job done the guy said there were only 2 valves sealing the other 6 were not sealing

In that case it will cause you to lose exactly 17.825 horsepower.

It is really simple. You need the known leak rate (x) Times the diameter of the valves times pie (apple) then you need to enter the Raduis cubed (r3)divided by diameter of the bore squared (D2) divided by swept volume of cyllinders X 4 and add intake volume. so it looks like this...

568 cc/min X 1.90 X 4 + 1.68 X 4 X 3.14 (apple) + .95 / .875 X 4 x0585 X 4 + 965cc = What ever and just make something up..........

Sorry my math was wrong I think it is WHO CARES not WHAT EVER....
