FASTRAK LMS Restructures Grand Nationals!
The FASTRAK Racing Series in a continued effort to improve the series, has completely restructured the Grand National Championship. First, no more Grand Nationals. It’s now the “World Championship”!
How it works: "Black Diamond Format".
No more night 1. We think from the information we have received from our teams, this will save every FASTRAK team a minimum of $1000 in expenses they would normally occur for Night 1.
Instead everyone will get together on one weekend, in one location and run for it all.
Friday night: Qualifying, heats, last chance, etc. Then the field will be split into 2 PAID FEATURES. The top 15 from each feature on Friday night will transfer to the “World Championship” on Saturday night.
Saturday night: World Championship- qualifying, heats, last chance, main event.
PLUS the new “World Challenge”. Only the top 5 teams from each weekly track will be invited to this event. This gives the weekly teams a championship all of their own.
The teams will then race for the championship money instead of points like in the past. The Championship banquet will be the next morning in which the awards, trophies, etc on a National basis will be awarded.
