MOORESVILLE, NC (December 12, 2011) – The region’s premier racer auction and trade show, the Charlotte Racers Expo, is less than six weeks away from opening its doors at the Metrolina Tradeshow Expo in Charlotte, NC. The event features two days of racer auctions, giveaways, sales, exhibits and more over January 27-28, 2012.

The two biggest features of the event include the racing auction where competitors can sell their old equipment at competitive commission rates or buy new and pre-owned equipment with absolutely no buyer’s premium. The auction, while held in conjunction with the trade show, will be in a separate building in order to facilitate a better selling environment for the trade show.

“We never really believed very much in charging someone extra for the privilege of buying something,” said Larry McDaniels, the organizer for the event. “This event is all about helping racers to save money and free money up. Charging a buyer’s premium so the auctioneer can make even more money off the backs of racers isn’t right, and we won’t have it at our event.”

For those not interested in the auction, the trade show will also be active during the entire two-day event. Over 60 various high-profile exhibitors will be on hand selling and displaying their latest products to regional racers. Major chassis builders for dirt and asphalt racing will have their latest designs on hand for review, and major manufacturers and retailers will have special two-day pricing on their products for the weekend.

“The fact that our exhibitors were so excited to come to Charlotte and help out the region’s racers with whatever they need tells me that this region is something really special when it comes to circle track racing,” said McDaniels. “We all know this is the hub of American professional motorsports, but the major players in the industry know this area is special for the grassroots sector of racing, too. For the region’s racers to be held in such high regard by these companies is a pretty special honor.”

Manufacturers and retailers with product for sale at the show will include major companies like GM Performance Parts (through Modern Chevrolet), AERO Race Wheels, Landrum Springs, BSB Manufacturing, Barry Wright Racecars, Bilstein Shocks, Warrior Racecars, Roush-Yates Performance, RBR Fabrication & Race Cars, Heintz Performance, Harris Auto Racing, FastShafts by Axle Exchange, Hopson Racing & Fabrication, Rapid Red Racing Supply, 006 Performance and many more. An entire exhibitor list is available by visiting CharlotteRacersExpo.com (http://www.charlotteracersexpo.com).

“We’ve got retailers having major blowout sales for our event and manufacturers offering special pricing either through those retailers or by buying direct. It’s going to be a money-saving event like the region’s racers haven’t seen in a very long time,” said McDaniels.
