IMCA Modifieds Jump Start 2012 In Arizona!
Kevin Montgomery PEORIA, Ariz. (November 30th, 2011) – IMCA Modified drivers across the country are busy preparing for the 2012 season that begins in just eight weeks as racers from all regions are expected to congregate to the warmer climates of Arizona for eight races in just 16 days with more than $40,000 in prize money up for grabs.
IMCA Participants will have the opportunity to get a head start on IMCA Points with the first stop at Canyon Speedway for Winter Challenge 2012. The Winter Challenge will kick off the eight race series on Friday January 27th with six of the eight races being held at the Peoria, Arizona facility prior to moving to the final IMCA winter destination.
The final two nights of the Arizona winter season will be capped off at Yuma, Arizona’s Cocopah Speedway with the IMCA Modified Winter Nationals. Participants and fans will take the short trip South West from Peoria to take part in the opening ceremonies of the Winter Nationals with the Fan Fest Party and Car Show on Thursday February 9th followed by two nights of IMCA Modified action on Friday February 10th and Saturday February 11th.

Arizona race fans can mark their calendar for one of the hottest events of the year as the best of the best in IMCA Modifieds tackle Canyon Speedway’s 3/8-mile clay oval for six races over the course of nine days on January 27th, 28th, 29th February 1st, 3rd and 4th and then Cocopah Speedway’s IMCA Modified Winter Nationals on February 10th and 11th.
