What's everyone running with these pullbars? What kind of spring, progressive or straight rate, how much preload? Also what kind of bushings are you using an how much space before they come in? Track type and usual track condition come main event time? And what tire you on?

New to a mod, liked this pullbar in my previous car but the eibach 735-1500 seems like way too much spring. Just wanting to see if guys had good luck with anything else. I'm imca on the g60.

The IMCA guys around here have been running the 2 stage with the 600-2000 progressive spring with good results. I ran the hoop style bushing bar last year. Bought a 2 stage with the 600-2000 spring for this year. Sorry, can't give you any set up info, but, the 600-2000 spring seemed to be the hot one to use around here last year.

Dump the yellow bushings, and everything that makes it a 3 way bar, and leave the Eibach spring on it. Just run it off the progressive spring. Also the Hypercoil 600-2000 is a good spring as well.
should get about 1.5-2" movement on the travel stick.

Borrowed a custom spring from a guy, I'm gonna stick with the biscuits, I'll post results after the weekend. Thanks for the help.

Think I found what I was looking for. Was hooked up hard on the cushion early and still drove hard through the slick later in the feature. Finished 2nd, main started 18 cars. Pm I you want details.

Mark Bush from Afco and at his race wise school said get rid of the progressive spring on the 3 stage. The bushings will give you the progression, so he said use a straight spring. i started at 600 lbs, and switched to the 800 lb, and that is where i stayed most of the year. i would just change the adjuster nut depending on slick or heavy conditions. If i remember, i believe i ran it at a half inch preload at ride height. With this set up, i was 1.5- 2 inches of travel and great forward bite.

I ran this bar last year with a 1050 spring, with two yellow bisquits on the brake side and 2 red bisquits inside, 35.5" long(all this was chassis manufacturers recomendations). Was kinda disappointed in the drive on a slick track. I want to try a the Integra progressive spring this year with the yellow bisquits inside and a single red bisquit on the brake side with 29 inches total. I also am thinking about taking of the pullbar shock. I talked to BSB at Indy, they said to get rid of the 9010 shock and to preload the brake bisquit to 3/4". That this would do the same thing as a 9010 shock without giving a chance for it to bind. Was wondering if anyone has any pointers on setting the bar up, and if you think this setup will help more on a slick track?
