Klint Byars Set to Open 2012 at USA Raceway in Tucson
Carrollton, Mississippi (01/10/12) – Just a few months after putting the wraps on a breakout season in 2011, Klint Byars is preparing to try his hand at setting the desert on fire in his #5 Southern Belle/K&K Motorsports/Victory Circle M1 Chassis By Moyer/Jay D ickens Racing Engine Super Late Model as he opens his 2012 campaign with the 6th Annual Wild West Shootout at USA Raceway (Tucson, Arizona).
The 2011 season saw Klint claim the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) Championship as well as the 2011 MSCCS Rookie of the Year honors. Along the way he won eight events including his biggest career victory, a $5,000 triumph at Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi).
With the 2011 season now in the rearview mirror and the 2012 season now here, Klint will make his first ever trip to the West as he enters the 6th Annual Wild West Shootout at USA Raceway (Tucson, Arizona). The miniseries features six separate races and a practice night scattered over the course of ten days, January 13th-22nd, at the 3/8 mile oval position in the land of the cactus.
The 6th Annual Wild West Shootout consists of the following dates:
January 13th: USA Raceway (Tucson, Arizona) - Open Practice
January 14th: USA Raceway (Tucson, Arizona) - $3,000-to-win
January 15th: USA Raceway (Tucson, Arizona) - $5,000-to-win
January 18th: USA Raceway (Tucson, Arizona) - $3,000-to-win
January 20th: USA Raceway (Tucson, Arizona) - $3,000-to-win
January 21st: USA Raceway (Tucson, Arizona) - $3,000-to-win
January 22nd: USA Raceway (Tucson, Arizona) - $10,000-to-win
