Appalachian Mountain Late Model Speedweek Prepares for Motorsports 2012 Show... Purchase your 2012 LM Speedweek Calendar by WRT right at the Show!

The Appalachian Mountain Speedweek kicks off 2012 at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center on January 20th, 21st & 22nd as the series for the first time will be a part of the “Motorsports 2012” show in Oaks, PA.

All fans & competitors are encouraged to stop by booths 419-421 to pick up a new schedule and just hello. Drivers will be stopping by to sign autographs throughout the weekend. Drivers planning on spending some time in the booth during the weekend include: Fan Favorite “Big Al” Cheney, Booper Bare, Tyler Hershey, 2011 Series Champion Austin Hubbard just to name a few along with Miss Appalachian Mountain Speedweek Danielle Wilson.

Look for a new series title sponsor to be announced at the show along with plenty more exciting news regarding point funds and sponsorship for the 2012 edition of the 4 year old Speedweek Series.

Also, on display in the booth will be the new Loco-Motives Racing/RoushYates/Mastersbilt by Huey #37 driven by Rockbridge Baths, Virginia’s Booper Bare. The veteran has amassed well over 200 feature wins in his storied career and is looking forward to racing all the races in the Series for the first time. Booper will also be on hand signing autographs throughout the weekend.

At the booth fans will be able to purchase the new 2012 Dirt Late Model calendars from noted photographer Jason Walls of WRT Speedwerx. The 3 different calendars feature the top 36 in 2011 Series points with crisp clear full color 8.5x11 shots suitable for framing. “We are really looking forward to being a part of this show” said co-organizer Kurt Smith. “It will be nice to get to talk with the fans and competitors while also getting to spend some time with some of the companies that have made this series what it is. It is because of fine companies like Lias Tire/American Racer, Keizer Wheels, Rocket Chassis, HTMA/Hoosier Race Tires, Sign Designs/Bill Funk and many more that allows our series to give away free wraps, wheels, tires and many more products. Our goal is to provide the fans with great entertainment while giving back to our drivers” added Smith.
