A FASTRAK Flash Back, A Final Review of (CARS) and The Best Racing Promoter tells all this edition of FASTRAK Weekly LIVE
(Four Oaks,NC) Fresh in from the CARS - Carolina Auto Racing Show in Hickory,NC which turned out to be a great success at the entire show but also alot of activity at the FASTRAK Companies International exhibit. The 2012 Racing schedule has been released and we're ready to go February 17,18,19 2012 at the Toccoa,GA Speedway for the 1st ever FASTRAK WinterNationals featuring 2 big races over the weekend. There was a buzz the entire weekend as the schedule was unveiled for both 9th year FASTRAK Racing Series Pro Late Models and the 2nd year for the ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series which had fans young and old pulling out there iphones and storing the 4ft tall schedule on their phones. FASTRAK Weekly LIVE Radio show was a great success with a ton of great interviews and dialog and much more over the weekend. Everyone from Co-Promoter Jimmy Schiltz and many others joined Wesley Outland (Voice of FASTRAK) and Tommy Tedder (Voice of Ultimate Supers) and Special Co-Host Ashlee Seiveke from Dirt Late Model/Tiger Rear Ends over the weekend at (CARS). FASTRAK Companies International and Founder Stan Lester would like to thank all that attended at the event or listened to the special broadcasts.
Join us this Tuesday night Janurary 17th as we get back to what will now be what we are calling "The Fastest Hour on Dirt Radio" FASTRAK Weekly LIVE Presented by FK Rod Ends at again NEW time 7pm EST on the FASTRAK Radio Network and we have another great guest line up your gonna absolutely enjoy. This week will we start off with Jimmy Schiltz from Hickory,NC and driver of the #24 Barry Wright on the FASTRAK Racing Series circuit. He was the co-promoter for this pasts weekends (CARS) Carolina Auto Racing Show at the Hickory Metro Convention Center. We'll have him on to discuss how the event went overall and final overviews on everything and whats in store for CARS next year as they already announced next years show will have different show times to make it a longer show for the fans we'll discuss that and much much more with Jimmy Schiltz first.
Our next guest will be Doug Gillenwater on the FK Rod Ends Hot Line and it is sure to be a treat as the "Premier Pro Late Model Series in the Country" is going into its 9th consecutive season traveling the country delivering the fans with the best on the edge of their seat excitement. Doug was the former Vice President with FASTRAK Racing Series and was a huge asset in the marketing department also with Founder/CEO FASTRAK's Stan Lester. He's also no stranger behind the microphone as he was the former announcer at Volunteer Speedway and has emceed other motor sports venues around the country. He'll be joining Wesley Outland to talk about the history of the series and the drive that's keeping it alive. We'll talk about the ups and downs that first started when FASTRAK's first race was created in April 2004 where only 5 cars showed up to where in October of the same year over 50 cars were at the Final race at Wythe Raceway. Its sure to be a interview especially if you don't know the entire history of the FASTRAK Racing Series.
Last but not least our final interview will not be LIVE I'm just gonna point that out but it will be a great way to end the hour. This past weekend on the Special FASTRAK Weekly LIVE shows we did from the Hickory (NC) Metro Convention Center during the Saturday morning edition we had a great guest a man who is deemed "The Best Promoter in the World of Motorsports" H.A Humpy Wheeler from Lake Norman,NC. He was on the show with Tommy and Wesley and it was just an experience to just sit back and listen to the history of how Mr. Wheeler went through the dirt world to becoming the Promoter/General Manager of the Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord,NC "The Mecca of Motorsports" which includes the 1.5 mile Double Dogleg facility, the 4/10th mile Dirt Track at Charlotte and the ZMax Dragway built by Bruton Smith and SMI!! He really had some great stories so if you missed it tune in Tuesday night it's one you'll enjoy!!
