Menomonee Falls, WI – Central Services Co. along with Bohrer Racing are proud to present the first annual Bret “The Jet” Sievert racing party on Friday January 27, 2012 at Classic Lanes in Menomonee Falls. A 9-pin tap bowling tournament is planned along with a live auction, raffles, DJ and more.
Sievert is a veteran dirt late model driver with over 50 wins in his career. He has three track championships to his credit along with state championships as well. He was the 1999 Sunnyview Speedway (Oshkosh) champion, the 2002 Hales Corners Speedway (Franklin) champion and the 2005 Crown Point Speedway (Crown Point, IN) champion. He claimed the Wisconsin State Championship in 2002 and the Indiana State Championship in 2005. In 24 starts of the 2011 season Sievert claimed four fast times, six feature main wins and ten heat race wins to his credit. He also added a new track record to his resume at the Peoria Speedway on April 9, 2011.
A 9-pin tap tournament will be part of the fun on January 27. Registration begins @ 5:00 with two squad time’s available, one @ 6:00 and one @ 8:45. Teams will consist of five members with a top prize of $700. 48 teams are maximum at the 24-lane center. This is a handicap tournament based on 80% of a 210 average. 2010-2011 USBC highest average will be used. If no established average, men will use 160 and women will use 140 average. Any participants who bowled in the 2011 Midwest Enduro Series tournament who still do not carry an established average will use their tournament average if less than the 160 or 140 minimum average respectively. If any bowler rolls a 9-pin tap 300 game they will receive $20. If any bowler rolls a natural 300 game they will receive $50. There is a special prize to the best-dressed / best themed team. The Bowling ticket includes party entry, beer, soda and food. Entry fee is $30 per person or $150 per team prior to January 20. After January 20, add $25.
For any non-bowlers, the party starts @ 7PM with the cost of only $10 at the door, which includes beer, soda and food for the remainder of the evening. A live auction will begin around 7:30 and take place throughout the evening. Large to small items will be auctioned during the evening including not only racing items but also others such as TV’s, etc. There will be multiple cash raffles drawn throughout the evening.
