It really did not take long for the Intimagator to realize that there can be a compromise between family and racing. Chris announced retirement at the end of the 2011 season to spend more time with his son who is very involved in FFA on a national level and his daughter who is an accomplished gymnist. A schedule will be worked out to race on a regional basis catching premium events without interfering with family time. The first scheduled event of the 2012 will be the Pelican 100 at Ark-La-Tex Speedway on March 9th and 10th. Following this event will be a Lucas Oil sanctioned doubleheader at Jackson Motor Speedway on March 30th and Lonestar Speedway on March 31st. More dates will be scheduled as the year progresses.
