i have a stagger bolt hole mount only block it does not have the straight across holes. 153t flywheel is what i have on it because of my torque converter.anyone know of a starter to work

I take the starter that I want to use and bolt it on with the one bolt hole that is there. Tighten the bolt just enough that you can still rotate the starter some.Then, pry the starter drive out to engage the flywheel and "prop" it there. Rotate the starter to gain a little gear clearance and tighten the bolt some more to hold the starter. Drill and tap the needed hole using the starter as a drill jig.
Works for me.

do you think the oem starter will turn a 12to1 motor

Yes it will, I have a autozone starter on my 13-1 and works fine.

We ran a CSR mini starter with our 377 that was staggered with a 153 tooth 2.1 lb flexplate. Worked fine..
