Our pure stock class is allowing headers this year and I'd like to buy a set, curious if over the rail headers will work with minimal engine setback on a metric?

Is that what I want anyway, or should I stick with a more conventional between the rail header set?

I saw Schoenfield offers a set that says that dumps behind the front wheels on each side, leaning towards those at the moment if they are the easiest to work around.

I went with over the rail this year and so far workin on the car is much better. Thats compared to the under the car type. And I havent raced them yet just worked on the car.

i ran underrail headers on a montecarlo for a year, but switched to overrail headers, because the header was in the way of the oil filter. until this year, i ran overrails on a car with no engine set back. worked fine.
