Dave Hartman and ColorMyRaceCar.com prepare for Detroit Autorama with the Michigan Dirt Cup Tour.
Howard City, MI (2/10/12) – Dave Hartman from Howard City, MI and the ColorMyRaceCar.com team are busy preparing for the launch of the 2012 ColorMyRaceCar.com contest and the debut of their new show car at the Detroit Autorama with the Michigan Dirt Cup Tour.
ColorMyRaceCar.com is a contest founded in 2010 that offers kids the unique opportunity to design and color their very own dirt late model racecar. Entries are free and can be found on the website at www.colormyracecar.com. Details of the 2012 version of the coloring contest will be announced on February 24th where the team will unveil their new show car at the Detroit Autorama in Detroit, MI. “we are still finalizing a few items, but this year’s coloring contest is promising to be the biggest to date” said Hartman. “The mission of ColorMyRaceCar.com is to promote involvement of kids in motorsports, the Detroit Autorama averages 150,000 auto enthusiast to its show annually, most of these attendees are not our traditional dirt late model fan base so it is exciting to have the opportunity to introduce them to our sport, as well as promote our advertisers, and the Michigan Dirt Cup Tour. We are honored that the Michigan Dirt Cup Tour chose our team to help represent them at the show” Hartman continued.
This season the ColorMyRaceCar.com team added a show car to their stable that allows them to better promote the ColorMyRaceCar.com team. Currently the team is scheduled to have the show car at two venues and a local school during the off season, with the hopes of adding more venues throughout the year.
