Regular raceiver doesn't scan. Not sure if The nitro scan will say on one channel without scanning though

The Nitro Scan does the very same thing a Raceceiver does and more..... Nitro scan will allow the use of Stereo earbuds as Raceceiver need to be Mono. Using Stereo buds on Raceceiver you will only get sound in one speaker. Nitro scan also has provision for 8 frequency presets. Great for someone who runs at different tracks that use different frequencies? Raceceiver does not have that ability. Nitro scan also has a lockout feature so you don't accidently change the frequency or the volume. And best of all Nitro scan is less expensive.

I use Etymotic ear pieces...they work in my raceiver and get sound from both ear buds.
