These birdcages that i have have three holes on the bottom side of each birdcage. Currently both the bottom bars are in the top holes of the birdcage, i was just wondering what the effects are when you move both of the bottom bars down on the birdcage? Also wondering if anyone thinks that 6 degrees in the left lower bar is too much or too little? Thanks in advance.

You want to keep your split from the top and bottom bars on the birdcages at 9 inches. You will probably be in the middle holes on your birdcages. The more you spread out the bars on the birdcage will allow it to index slower. And on your bottom left bar, I have seen guys run up to 10 degrees. I like to keep it around 6-8 degrees.

Do i just measure the distance between where the two rods attach to the birdcage on top and bottom and it should be 9 inches?

Yes sir. Do that on both sides.

Thank you for your help, and then just make sure the birdcages are square correct? No indexing?

Exactly. Just put an angle finder on the bottom of the birdcage to make sure it's level.

Should i check the birdcage indexing and the lead/trail with the driver in or out of the car? Thanks again.
