I do not know much about shocks, but here it goes. I have a 84 Monte with a LF 1100, RF 1000 RR 175, LR 200. I bought the Adjustable PRO Shocks for all 4 corners as we have to run a stock mounted shock. I called the company and they told me the shocks i have all have the same compresssion BUT the rebound is what is adjustable.
This is the adjustments for the shocks....
R - Soft Rebound - Easy up for weight transfer
F - 50/50 - equal dampening (same valving as non-adjustable SS)
XF - Stiff rebound - more control (slow weight transfer)
Just scaled the car LF 797, RF 810, LR 802, RR 701..Rear 48.3...Left side 51.4...right side 48.6...RF/LR 51.8 ...total weight 3111
As my car is right now i am Tight going in, Push in the middle and Lose on exit of the 3/8 slightly banked track i run.
What setting should i set these adjustable shocks at for all 4 corners??
or move weight around, etc.etc.etc.
Thanks

what about stagger, air, ride heights, weight placement, brake bias, wheel offfset. IMO there is little to be gained with the shocks as far as handling, set them where they feel the best and adjust for minor tuning. There are alot better ways to adjust the handling than shocks. Set them all at 50/50 get the car real close then experiment with the shocks.

Agreed 2x, 3d refer to your thread on the weight question.

first thing i would do is 1100rf 1000 lf will fix your tight in and middle ,once its bad gettin in its bad everywhere you must fix entry firstand on shocks you want to use them to tune the car not set it up so set them at a standard all around setting and get your car good then play with the shocks but you want your rf to equal to or up to 200lbs stiffer then the lf on springs on that car.jmo
