CARTERSVILLE, GA – NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series Pre-Season Registration is underway and drivers are encouraged to purchase their Annual Membership and complete their paperwork before the 2012 NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series begins on March 26. Drivers can avoid delays during Week 1 of the season by getting registered one of two ways.
Drivers can purchase their $100 Annual Membership and complete their registration paperwork during practice and/or pre-season events at NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series tracks. NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series officials have been sent the forms and have them available. The tracks will send the membership fees and the completed paperwork to the series.
The NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series Membership forms are also available online at www.nesmithracing.com on either the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series Touring Division or NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series web sites.
Competitors can print out the registration form and mail them along with the $100 Annual Membership Fee with a check or money order payable to Crate Racin’ USA, P.O. Box 1346, Cartersville, GA 30120. Once the series receives the membership fee and the completed registration form, drivers will be mailed their 2012 NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series Membership Card.
By purchasing the 2012 NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series Annual Membership, drivers will be eligible to compete in any NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series Touring Division event and any NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series event, and also be eligible for Contingency Awards in both Divisions.
Members are also eligible for the $50,000 Touring Division point fund that pays $20,000-to-win and pays back ten spots, the $20,000 Weekly Racing Series point fund that pays $10,000-to-win and pays back ten spots, and the track point fund.
Information from the Registration Forms are used for administrative purposes, to promote the driver and their sponsors, and to award points to participating chassis builders in the NeSmith Chevrolet Chassis Manufacturers Challenge.
Week 1 of the 27-week 2012 NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series season begins on March 26 and runs through September 30. A driver’s best 14 weekly point totals will count towards their National point total.
The next NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series Touring Division event will be the 3rd Annual Rumble On The Gumbo 75 paying $5,000-to-win at Greenville Speedway in Greenville, MS on April 6-7. The Rumble On The Gumbo 75 will be Round 4 of the 2012 NeSmith Chevrolet DLMS Touring season.
