I have 6 JE 4.030 flat top (-5cc) pistons that are part # 181916. The are for a 30 over 355. The rods are Callies Compstar 6.00" with Small journal (2.00"). The rods and pistons have only 8 nights on them. Motor broke and the other 2 rods and pistons were broke and have been discarded (I do Not have them!!!). The pistons are readily available off the shelf for $111.60 a piece list price. The rods are also available and $87 a piece list. Pistons are in great shape. One rod of the 6 that are left does have 2 nicks on the cap but I would personally say that it wont affect its durability. These are a consignment and owner wants to sell them before I quit selling in less than 2 weeks so they need to move asap. He looking for a good offer as he had over $1400 in them. Stick $400 into them and have a great set of rods and pistons for well under new price. Asking $300 obo.
Same gentleman also has a NEW COLA 4340 3.5 stroke crankshaft with 350 mains and LARGE JOURNAL rods (2.100). He bought at a local trade show thinking he needed it to put the combo back together. He didnt realize it was for Large journal rods and has since bought a complete engine and no longer wants to use this stuff. Crank sells new for $689 but he simply wants $425 obo out of it. Cola cranks are much better than comparable Eagle and Scat stuff. Save big here.
