New to Mods this year and my car is currently set up with a Z-link on the RR. I have heard differnet opinions, some say it's more forgiving, some say change to to a 4 bar setup. I plan on trying both when the track opens for practice. Any opinions and how does it affect the driving style on the car?

Leave it on the z-link if you are new to mods and it is set up to be that way. Learn how to drive the car first before you do any experimenting with a 4 bar. That way you'll know if the 4-bar is any better or worse for your driving style or track.

I've ran both and found the 4 link rr tobe better for my driving style. the z-link rr was always to tight for me just couldn't get the thing to turn in 90 percent of the time the other 10% it was fast. I think the 4 bar set up is better I can fill it getting over on the tire and on a stop and go track it just seems to have more drive off.I'm a swing arm nut but I have one car set up on 4 bar.

Put it on 4 bar, all the big races are won on 4 bar, don't waste your time on anything else and you will be way ahead of the game.

i always thought z link rr had less side bite and was tighter on throttle.....both are bad things for a new driver....id put it on 4bar rr if it was me

4-bar gives you more rear steer. Z-link takes some of the rear steer out of the car. It's all driver preference. Just have to find what you like the best.

How is a 4 link both sides compared to a 4 - 2? I run a 4 - 2 and thinking about switching to a 4 - 4. Thanks

4-2 is REALLY throttle tight in most situations...car lays on rr harder and makes less rr drive....but also has alot of steer and i think with work you can make it work....just think the 4-4 is alot more adjustable and driver friendly
