Cleveland Speedway Getting Prepared For 17th Annual Shamrock 50 Paying $10,000 To Win

CLEVELAND, TN—The Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series will kick off the 30th Anniversary Tour of the longest running dirt series in the country with the 17th Annual Shamrock 50 at the Cleveland Speedway in Cleveland, TN., paying $10,000 to win for the 50 lap event.

Billy Ogle Jr of Knoxville, TN., will be back to defend his 2012 title and this year should be no different as many of the same competitors from last year as well as some new and upcoming drivers plan on competing with the series.

William Thomas of Phenix City, AL., will be in action as he captures the 2012 Rookie of the Year title, David Payne of Murphy, NC., Brian Reese of Sharpsburg, GA., Riley Hickman of Cleveland, TN., Kayne Hickman of Chattanooga, TN., Todd Morrow of Chattanooga, TN., Skip Arp of Georgetown, TN,., Chad Ogle of Knoxville, TN., Jimmy Owens of New Port, Tn., Scott Bloomquist of Mooresburg, TN., Ray Cook of Murphy, NC., Randy Weaver of Crossville, TN., and Dale McDowell of Chickamauga, GA., all of these are expected to be in action at Cleveland Speedway. Also on the racing program will be Crate/Steel Head Late Models and A & B Hobbys.

Pit gates will open at 2 pm with grandstands at 3 pm drivers meeting at 5:30 pm and hot laps at 6:30 pm.

Checked Scott Bloomquist's schedule and no mention of him attending. Is this a definite or just a guess?

From what I have heard the track operator is Ronnie at Race Engine, but I don't know that for sure

Looking forward to seeing Jimmy! I will be surprised if Scott graces us with his presence lol.

This should be a stacked field with both Lucas and WOO off that weekend. 17M, 53, 20, have it listed, I would assume Clanton and C. Smith will be there.

That is correct.

Ronnie W. is involved with the direction of the trustee Mr. Farinash. Thr race on the 7th is a leased event for the track. The trustee will receve all the income from the event, tickets, food ect., deduct all pay out for the event and (IF) any profit is made, will be deposited with the bank and then paid back out under the control of the trustee. Ck with any chapter 11 attorney.

Actually it's according to what type of Chap 11 Evrything I have heard is that Ronnie W is the promoter Under reorganization Monte could be But even the website says that Ronnie B is the Promotor

According to Cleveland Speedways website Ronnie W is the SOLE promoter.
