Dennis Erb, Jr. Sixth in Indiana Icebreaker; Takes LOLMDS Point Lead South!

(CARPENTERSVILLE, ILLINOIS) Dennis Erb, Jr. and his #28 team invaded the legendary Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana on Saturday night, March 24 for the annual running of the 'Indiana Icebreaker.' The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series once again sanctioned the one-day showdown and 44 competitors converged on the 1/4-mile, semi-banked fairgrounds venue. Dennis timed in tenth fastest in his group during qualifying and later finished third in his loaded heat race.

After rolling off from the outside of the sixth row in the $10,000 to win main event, Dennis picked off six competitors during the 50-lapper on his way to a solid sixth place performance. The Carpentersville, Illinois standout finished behind only winner Don O'Neal, Jimmy Owens, Greg Johnson, Steve Francis, and Jonathan Davenport and is still leading the heated LOLMDS point chase. Complete results from Brownstown can be viewed by clicking on www.lucasdirt.com.

Two more Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series events will greet the Dennis Erb Racing team this upcoming weekend (March 30-31) in the states of Mississippi and Texas. On Friday night, the Jackson Motor Speedway in Jackson, Mississippi will play host to the $10,000 to win ‘Southern 50.’ The doubleheader weekend will then wrap up with another $10,000 to win program on Saturday evening at the Lonestar Speedway in Kilgore, Texas.
