JASON WELSHAN SCORES CROSSVILLE FALL BRAWL OPENER VICTORY
Crossville, TN (4/7/12) --- Picking up his 1st win of 2012, Saturday night at Crossville (USA) Raceway on the Tennessee Cumberland Plateau, Jason Welshan of Maryville, TN pocketed the $1,000 FALL BRAWL Late Model prize. A huge crowd in attendance at the red-clay high banked dirt track witnessed Welshan and Late Model Veteran the LENIOR CITY MADMAN Patrick Duggan go wheel to wheel several times for Crossville's 30-lapper. Welshan in his Hidden Hollow Motorsports #29 "B&M Concrete, Competition Racing Equipment, Ronald Sexton Construction, Centerline Construction, Bearden Oil, Hicks & Law Insurance, Jon's Golfcarts, Smith's Auto Repair, Schenfeld Headers, Stealth Racing Carburators, Outlaw Graphix" sponsored MasterSbilt / Bill Bunch powered Cindy & Roger Kerr, Gary Rofle owned racecar outduelled Duggan in the feature using the bottom-feader line around the ultra-quick track. "That felt real good, getting our first win and that monkey off our back" stated the current Boyd's Speedway Crate Late Model Champion. Welshan was Fast Qualifier and drew a dash starting spot of 3rd, where he battled Duggan for the features pole position. Next weekend the team is looking to return Friday night to Boyd's then possibly staying close to home and racing Smoky Mtn Raceway's Special Crate LM event.
