Kandy Methvin wins opening night USRA Modified Feature at Flippin.

New track owners Lenny & Shirley West opened the gates of North Central Arkansas Speedway this past Friday Night for the first race event of 2012.
Kandy Methvin of Yellville, AR won the feature event for the USRA-sanctioned open-wheel Modifieds. The Super Stock division was won by Jackie Hensley. John Briggs captured the Mini-Stock first place trophy, while Richard Carson won the Hobby Stock race, and David Harris came in first in the Pure Stock division. The front-wheel drive Hornet class winner was Matt Briggs.
Next Friday night, April 20th, the Ozark Vintage Racing Association will bring their exciting racecars of yesteryear to the North Central Arkansas Speedway. These antique racecars will take to the high-banks Friday Night at 8 pm.
