(Peoria, IL) The 5th annual “Don Bohlander Tribute” race at Peoria Speedway, which was washed away by rain after the Late Model heats last Sunday, April 15, has been re-scheduled for Sunday, June 3.
The Corn Belt Clash/ UMP Late Models will pick up where they left off as heat races had been completed. The 6 lap, $500 to-win “Richard Robison Quick 6 Dash for Cash”, B Mains, and the 50 lap, $4,000 to-win feature will be run on June 3. 31 Late Models signed in last Sunday night.
The Limited Late Model field is also set as heat races were completed as well. UMP Modifieds will run an entirely new program of 1 lap qualifying, heat races, B main and a 20 lap A Main. Illinois Lightning Mini Sprints will also run heats and a feature as their heat races were washed away.
Ticket stubs from April 15 will be honored at the front gate, and fans purchasing 50/50 tickets for Parkinson’s Research are encouraged to hold onto their stubs as the drawing will occur at intermission. Pit passes from April 15 can be used at any Peoria Speedway event or on June 3.

Yes, any and all Modifieds are welcome to race as it is a whole new program for the UMP Modifieds and Illinois Lightning Sprints. Only the Late Models and Limited Late Model fields are set.

Does anyone have the results from the Late model heats?
