I've had 2 chassis builders recommend 2 different things, so I thought I would post this question. On the 3 piece upper control arms, do you guys jam both sides of the swedge tube, or just the hiem side? (the clevis and threaded stock coming off the ball joint holder are fixed points without any hiem joint)

Do you jam the outside and inside of your tie rod swedge tube? Or just the outside?

Do you jam the outside and inside of all rear suspension components?

I don't know if it makes a noticeable difference either way, but it is always good to hear other thoughts.

I've always jammed both sides just for safety sake. Less likely to loosen and less likely to wear the threads out.

Nut them up, it makes for a stronger assembly overall.

Nut up both ends. As stated it makes for a lot stronger assembly and I will find a jam nut loosening up on a regular basis during weekly checks. If its vibrating enough to loosen up jam nut it could just as easy start turning the swedge tube
