Ponderosa Speedway Amends Bob Allen Motor Mall Street Stock Rules
Junction City, KY- April 19, 2012- Ponderosa Speedway track promoter Larry Yantz and co-promoters
Chad and Sarah Yantz would like to announce a change in the rules originally posted for the Bob Allen Motor Mall Street Stock division.
Those cars in the Bob Allen Motor Mall Street Stock will now have the option of decking the right side of the interior of the race cars. Decking is NOW legal in the Street Stock division. “We are trying to build this division at Ponderosa Speedway and want as many cars from as many other tracks as possible to be able to race with us”, stated Ponderosa Speedway track promoter Larry Yantz. “Beginning this Friday (April 20) the cars in the Street Stock division are legal to run at Ponderosa Speedway if they have decked part of the interior of the race car”, added Yantz.
The Bob Allen Motor Mall Street Stock division is scheduled to be in action this Friday evening April 20 as part of the Big Bull 50 event for the Indiana Late Model Series. Also in action will be the Clayton Homes Modifieds and Ken Towery’s Auto and Tire Care Sportsman divisions. The payout for the Bob Allen Motor Mall Street Stock division feature event is as follows: (12 laps): 1st- $200, 2nd- $125, 3rd- $100, 4th- $90, 5th- $80, 6th- $70, 7th- $60, 8th- $55, 9th- $50, 10th- $45, 11th through 18th- $40.
Ponderosa Speedway is located at 365 Phillips Lane on the Boyle/Lincoln County border, outside of Junction City, KY, just minutes from Danville, KY. Larry Yantz is the track promoter and will present dirt track sports entertainment on Friday and selected Saturday evenings from April through October of the 2012 race season.
