Has anyone tried running longer top trailing arms on the rear of a metric Chevy? If so what did it do to help or hurt?

My thinking is longer arms would change angle less during suspension travel and be more consistent. Our rules allow some mods but still has to be the stock "type" suspension. I can just 3 link it and put a panhard bar on it. I have the heim type bushings in the lowers and 3 adjustment holes on both ends there. Thinking about using rods and heims like on a mod for the uppers and put a bracket approx 3 inches in front of the factory holes with a couple holes for adjustment.

Thanks in advance for any help or ideas
