Conley’s All Claim Top Ten Finishes in Annual Southern 50
(WHEELERSBURG, OHIO) Delmas, Rod, and R.J. Conley all traveled literally down the road to the Southern Ohio Speedway in Wheelersburg, Ohio on Friday, April 27 for the running of the 'Southern 50.' The unsanctioned showdown at SOS paid $6,000 to the winner and drew a healthy 35 car field. R.J. posted the best finish out of the trio of Conley's, as he ran fourth in his heat race prior to notching a sixth place effort in the 50-lap feature event. R.J. finished behind only winner Eddie Carrier, Jr., Josh McGuire, Jared Hawkins, Donnie Moran, and Jacob Hawkins.
"Hot Rod" finished third in his heat race and also recorded a top ten performance, as he crossed underneath the 'Southern 50' checkers in the ninth position. Not to be left out of the top ten, Delmas joined his sons by claiming a tenth place finish in the 50-lapper after coming out of the B-Main. The Conley Motorsports, Inc. teams will once again try their luck at nearby Southern Ohio Speedway this Friday evening, May 4. Delmas, Rod, and R.J.
