The Southern Regional Racing Series invaded Boyd's Speedway on Friday night, and one of their own would claim the $3,000 to win prize on a last lap, last turn pass to the checkered flag.
Thirty cars would sign in for the $3,000 to win event. Skip Arp set fast time with Riley Hickman on the outside pole.
Skip Arp jumped to the lead and led every lap of the event but did not get the victory as Hickman would claim the victory on the last lap, last turn pass. Hickman's margin of victory was .047.
The SRRS would like to thank all of the drivers and fans that attended the event. Hope everyone enjoyed the event.
We would also like to thank Boyd's Speedway for providing a great racing surface for our drivers and a great race for the fans.
