Wheatland, MO - The country music band, LiveWire will perform a FREE concert on Thursday, May 24th following Practice for the 20th Annual Dart Show-Me 100. LiveWire is from Joplin, Missouri. Last year the group released "Miracle of the Human Spirit," about the tragic tornado and amazing

response in their hometown of Joplin, MO. The song is dedicated to and benefits rebuilding efforts in Joplin. LiveWire's anthem is, "Tater Fed" a song written about growing up in the rural heartland. The sound of LiveWire's original country songs and classic rock hits, make the band a fan favorite. LiveWire's music has found success on Country radio, both in the U.S. and in Europe, and their videos have received airplay on CMT Pure, The Country Network and Yallwire, among other outlets. "LiveWire is a great addition to a growing weekend of events and activities surrounding the 20th Annual Dart Show-Me 100, we are excited for fans, drivers, crews and campers to enjoy an awesome concert on Thursday night," stated Lucas Oil Speedway General Manager, Dan Robinson.

Anticipation continues to build, as each race night at Lucas Oil Speedway draws the 20th Annual Dart Show-Me 100 closer. May 24th-26th, the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and the Lucas Oil MLRA will meet in Wheatland, for the storied 100 lap feature event. Jimmy Owens from Newport, TN was the 2011 Dart Show-Me 100 winner and 2011 LOLMDS Point Champion. Owens is currently leading the point standings and is off to a solid start to the 2012 season. Don O'Neal from Martinsville, IN, has yet to be admitted to the prestigious class of Show-Me 100 winners. O'Neal had a knockout year in 2011, finishing 3rd in overall LOLMDS Championship Points, winning The Dream, Silver Dollar Nationals, Knoxville Nationals, and the Dirt Track World Championship in one season. Currently 3rd in the LOLMDS Championship standings is, Earl Pearson Jr. from Jacksonville, FL. Pearson Jr. is hungry for his first win at the Diamond of Dirt Tracks.

Will "The Thrill" Vaught from Crane, MO sits atop the Lucas Oil MLRA points. Vaught's 2012 season is off to a dynamic start with a win at I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, NE and six other top five finishes. 2011 Lucas Oil MLRA Champion, John Anderson from Omaha, NE is currently 2nd in MLRA point standings. The Shop Quick Team has already appeared in Lucas Oil Speedway Victory Lane this year, with a win on the track's opening night. One of the most popular traditions during Memorial Weekend at Lucas Oil Speedway, is camping. The newly expanded Campground is over 40 acres of sprawling green grass, two fishing ponds, exposed and tree covered areas with beautiful trails throughout. Dry camping spots are FREE at the 20th Annual Dart Show-Me 100, make plans to bring the family for the weekend and enjoy the great outdoors. The Show-Me Beach will also be open for all to enjoy at Lake Lucas, throughout the event. Horseshoes, volleyball, beach activities and swimming will fill each day with tropical fun for fans of all ages. Lake Lucas will be open all week long for fishing, paddle boats and even some special water demonstrations. Helicopter rides will be available Friday and Saturday provided by KC Copters. Kids can enjoy a jumbo inflatable slide, bounce houses and even climb an giant rock wall. The Midway area at Lucas Oil Speedway will feature large static displays and interactive games. Multiple t-shirt, diecast and other vendors will be displayed throughout the event.

The traditional Thursday night BBQ will follow practice, dinner is free with a pit pass or just $10 for all others. Practice is from 6 PM - 9 PM. LiveWire will perform on stage as practice wraps up. Also on stage Thursday night, the crowning of the 1st Annual Miss Show-Me 100, Miss Lucas Oil Speedway and Little Miss Lucas Oil Speedway set to take place at 8:30 PM.
