pinto transmission help

I have a 2.14 second gear pinto trans that wont go into gear was working fine this past weekend till I went to shift into 4th and it wouldn't go and it wont go into any other gear either. We have tried it with the car off thinking maybe we lost the clutch but still nothing. Any thoughts on what may have broke? And were to get parts for it also open to any and all ideas

sometimes that little shifter will be loose and not connecting propperly to the shift rod. They can do that with age. un S the aluminum ball and nut, take it out make sure you are in neutral and then put it back making sure the little slot goes properly over the shift rod. Be sure you tighten that nut down when you put it back in and then use the little stake shim on the top to keep it from losening up.. If that doesnt work you may have internal problems, and it is cheaper to get another tranny .
